Yogananda

 

Paramahansa Yogananda was a great Eastern mystic who dedicated his life to God, and as a result was able to attain self-mastery. You can read about this remarkable being in the book Autobiography of a Yogi. An air of serenity and wholeness has descended upon me, so I know that he is ready to speak.

 

Paramahansa Yogananda: I come to you today to express my great love for humanity. Know that I am but a messenger of God.

 

Susanne: Considering your last life here on earth, there is no doubt in my mind that you are indeed among the ascended masters. How did you attain your release from physical bondage?

 

PY: Dear ones, my ascension was earned by the way I chose to live my life. I was able to perform so-called miracles because I always kept my focus on our all-loving, all-knowing God. One of my most important tasks was, and still is, to help initiate as many people as possible, especially Westerners, into the ancient scientific technique of Self-realization through Kriya yoga. It is a proven means to achieving peace and prosperity, as well as reclaiming your divine heritage. I am happy to report that the work that I started continues to this day. Self-Realization Fellowship centers are flourishing in honor of those teachings, and to anchor the light. I still oversee much that goes on.

 

S: Can you describe for us what it was like to move on to other realms after you left your life here?

 

PY: For me, it was a simple matter. Because I was always close to God, I just left my physical body behind and returned to being the light-energy that I always was. It truly is a liberating experience. I had the honor of realizing my Self as the spiritual spark that I AM once again, and I was able to remain in that state for some time. This is always a comforting and energizing event.

 

S: Is that what you mean by Self-realization? Can everyone achieve this state of being?

 

PY: It has always been my vision to encourage true seekers of God to manifest heaven on earth. You see, originally the earth was established as a physical utopia, as a joyful learning environment for creative souls on their God journey. Too many people have forgotten this truth. They have allowed others to manipulate them, to feed their fears, and to fan the flames of doubt. Make your choices wisely; steer clear of the illusions and glamour of false beliefs. Go within, for there you will find all the answers.

 

S: Would you clarify what you mean by manifestation, and how we can manifest heaven on earth?

 

PY: Certainly. Thoughts are very powerful. Realize that God is not the only creator; we, as his children, are creators as well. Many of you still do not realize that you have always manifested everything in your life. You are even able to bring forth miracles. It is up to you, then, to decide if you want to bring about joy and happiness—heaven on earth for yourself and others—or sorrow and pain. The choice, as always, is yours.

 

S: What parting words of wisdom would you like to share with us?

 

TY: I ask that you keep God uppermost in your hearts and minds at all times. Also, many great beings have your best interests at heart, and are always here to serve and comfort you whenever you request their aid. Allow prayer and meditation to be your guiding lights. All of us in these other realms have faith that the upcoming earth changes will open a flood of new inspiration that will help to realign your souls with God. When this occurs, and I assure you it will, peace, love, and wisdom will reign throughout the universe.
